CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL
REAL MADRID v ATLETICO MADRID

If Atletico Madrid win the Champions League in Lisbon on Sunday morning (Singapore time), it will be the ultimate Cinderella story.

Diego Simeone’s side, assembled at a fraction of the cost of their city rivals, have already won La Liga.

Can they secure an incredible Double as well? I would love to see it happen, but there are reasons why it could be Real Madrid’s day.

Atletico may not be able to cope with injuries to Arda Turan and Diego Costa while fatigue could seep in after a long season in which they have upset the odds.

The experience of Real coach Carlo Ancelotti and the speed of Gareth Bale could prove too much for Atletico while Real will also be bent on chasing history - they are aiming to win their 10th European Cup.
