Just last month, they were pushing supplements to unsuspecting people outside the National Heart Centre Singapore.

But after a TNP report exposing their brazen touting, the five promoters of Herbalife have been suspended pending investigations.

The Direct Selling Association of Singapore (DSAS), in which Herbalife is a member company, and the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) have both expressed displeasure at the touting.

Case’s executive Mr Seah Seng Choon said they targeted “people in misery”, while DSAS’ chairman Dr Dora Hoan said it tarnished the association’s clean reputation.
