A signalling vest to make it safer for cyclists, a spherical video camera that can be rolled into rooms during tactical operations and a stroller that will lock its wheels when no one is holding the handle.

These are three of the creative prototypes made by teams of final-year engineering students from National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University for the iNEMO Design Contest 2014, organised and sponsored by STMicroelectronics.

The top prize of $10,000 was won by a NUS team comprising of Electrical Engineering undergraduates Tan Sze Wei and Low Kang Jiang, both 24, who came up with the signalling vest.
