The woman, 52, had moved aside to let other passengers through in a bus queue at Tampines Bus Interchange on May 12 as she did not want to squeeze onto a crowded bus.
She then moved back to the head of the queue to wait for the next bus.
But another woman, said to be in her twenties or thirties, behind her accused the older woman of cutting the queue. She then hurled vulgarities and punched her in the face and arms.
Other passengers had to restrain her.
The victim, who had bruises on her jaw and arm (above) from the attack, lodged a police report at the SBS Transit Office.
